America Lainez is our HUSD Staff Spotlight recipient. America has served HUSD for the past 5 years. She works in our Head Start Program as an Instructional Aide and loves serving our students and families. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor's Degree and her goal is to become an elementary school teacher. She loves seeing her students learn and grow and her biggest highlight is seeing her student's faces light up when they have made a connection to new learning.
She is proud to share that she was the first in her family to attend and graduate from college and is an inspiration to her younger siblings and family members. She always wears a smile on her face and is a joy to work with. She is very deserving of this recognition!
