The mission of the Preschool Programs at HUSD is to prepare children, and families for kindergarten readiness.
Vision:
Our vision for the Preschool Programs is to provide a nurturing, developmentally-appropriate learning environment where individual strengths are recognized and the positive growth of the children and families are supported.
Program Goals:
Parent Engagement
Expand programs to support the early developmental stages encompassing children ages 0-5.
Literacy
Encourage children’s love for literacy for a successful future.
College and Career Readiness
Educate parents on the importance of preschool and the success of the
child in the future.
